- I was mistakenly sprayed with an industrial pesticide at close range on April 6, 2011. I had chemical burns as well as what the doctors called a "toxic exposure". My face was red, swollen, with open tears and oozing wounds that would not heal. My doctors gave me very strong antibiotics over several months but my injuries would not heal completely.
